Sale of TIGER PARTS - AVA issues fine
SPCA responded to a report received on Sunday 19 June, that there was a stall selling tiger products at a Malay Wedding and Food Expo Sale being held at Expo Hall 5. SPCA's staff visited undercover and confirmed that there were items on sale, the seller claiming that they were tiger products.
AVA CITES team was called in that same evening, and they seized the items. The seller of the alleged tiger products was given a compound fine of $1,000. The products...

On 13th June 2011, a white pigeon was found in the vicinity of Blk 166 Bishan St 13 with a home made arrow stuck in its body. As a result, the bird suffered from a puncture wound to its lower abdomen area. A police report has been lodged.
The SPCA is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person/s responsible. If you can help, please call SPCA at 6287 5355 ext 9.
