Adoption Spotlight 20th Dec 2012, by SPCA Singapore
Fifi is a cat. She is a 4-year-old Persian to be exact. What does it mean to be a cat? It means she is completely secure in the knowledge that she is beautiful and lovely and expects you to know it; she wants to be left to snooze away the day anywhere in the house she pleases; when she wants affection, she will tell you and you will give it to her; she will need daily grooming for her long fur and may reward you with a bit of purring; from time to time, she may cough up a hairball and you will c...

On 29 Nov at about 3am, the woman pictured left a 1-year-old female cross Siamese cat just outside our gates in a cage. She then turned around and ran away. Luckily, our staff discovered the cat soon after. The cat, which we've named Poptart, will be up for adoption very soon.

Little Dundi is a quiet 10-year-old cross-Maltese so perfect for a HDB flat. He can't walk very far and will need special dental care but otherwise he still looks great and is full of love to give. If you're willing to give this "senior" a loving home for the rest of his doggy days, come down to the SPCA this weekend!
Details on our adoption process can be found here http://www.spca.org.sg/adoptioninfo.html.

The SPCA has long spoken out against the displacement of animals in their natural habitat for the purpose of human entertainment.
For the sake of the remaining dolphins, we urge RWS to release the captured dolphins back to their natural habitat. We urge RWS to give a full account to the public, of the circumsta...

We thank everyone who has been concerned for the dog found in the cardboard box on Monday. For what he has gone through, he is doing fine at this time. Though frail, he's eating, pee-ing and poo-ing well. He had a bath, and yesterday afternoon got a well-deserved grooming to get rid of all of his matted fur. We'll be passing him on to his fosterer asap so he can get some well-needed and deserved TLC.
