Adoption Spotlight 15th Jan 2013, by SPCA Singapore
This happy pooch is Valli, a 2-year-old mutt full of love and energy. He's such a sweetheart, he gets along with just about everybody, but will need lots of exercise and playtime to satisfy his active nature. Though we know anyone with a willing heart would be a great owner, Valli is sadly, not HDB-approved. If you or someone you know could give Valli his forever home, don't waste another moment!
Info about our adoption process can be found here http://www.spca.org.sg/adoptioninfo.html.

A dead kitten suspected of abuse was found at the carpark of Blk 16 Eunos Crescent on Sunday 6 Jan AM. The SPCA and AVA were alerted to this by Cat Welfare Society (CWS)and member of public after a police report was made. CWS had then brought the body to SPCA for a preliminary vet examination. It strongly suggests abuse. The carcass was been handed over to the AVA on Monday for further investigations.

Pet Care Tips 7th Jan 2013, by SPCA Singapore
In light of the recent alleged mutilation of the two kittens in Chong Pang, the SPCA would like to remind all pet owners to keep their pet cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs STRICTLY indoors. We have seen and investigated too many cases where pets are kept in the common corridors of the homes in public AND private housing estates, leaving the pets vulnerable to the weather, theft or abuse by strangers.
Part of being a responsible pet owner, as well as to prevent animal abuse, is ke...

Abandoned 4th Jan 2013, by SPCA Singapore
The man pictured abandoned this dog at Bartley MRT station after we requested he come back again the next day. On Sunday, 16 Dec, he came to the SPCA wanting to surrender this 1-year-old mongrel. He had raised the dog from a puppy but cited reasons such as moving house, no one wanting to take care of it and neighbours complaining, for not wanting the dog anymore. Our staff tried their best to persuade him to find the dog a home himself instead of surrendering it to SPCA. He then requested we put...

Adoption Spotlight 3rd Jan 2013, by SPCA Singapore
Meet Fuji! This unusual all-white Jack Russell Terrier may be a "senior" at 10 years of age, but he can still be quite a handful if you're not familiar with the needs of a Jack Russell. This little guy needs plenty of outdoor time and sports to keep him occupied and happy.
Check out our other pooches waiting for their forever homes here http://www.spca.org.sg/gallerydog1.html.

Adoption Spotlight 28th Dec 2012, by SPCA Singapore
This lovely lady with an unladylike name is a 4-year-old local rabbit. Buff's creamy seal point colouring, much like a Siamese cat, comes with an adorable habit of standing on her hind-legs to beg for food. She's quite curious and active and will enjoy being a free-roaming rabbit once the house is rabbit-proofed.
We've got a fair number of rabbits in so if you're looking for a bunny to love, head over this weekend and check them out! (we've got lots of dogs, cats and hamsters too) Go to http:/...
