On this day when people celebrate life and practice love, peace and harmony, do remember to show love and compassion to the animals who share this earth with us. Please do not release captive animals who cannot fend for themselves in the wild, or disrupt the balance in our ecosystem by releasing non-indigenous animals into our surroundings.

From fostering to a forever home. Today, the Tan Family has opened their doors with arms wide open to Saviour, their amazing little doggy.
Saviour was found at a construction site along Tampines, and the SPCA brought it back to our premises to care for it and also help this pup find good owners. This little sweetheart is a two-legged dog, as it was born this way. Nonetheless, he is a very happy and loving dog who does not hold back on his affection towards people.

We are appealing for witnesses or any leads for the case of a dead cat that appears to have been badly neglected. On the morning of 21 May 2013, the police were alerted to an object that was buried opposite Blk 9 on North Bridge Road, next to the bin centre. It was later discovered that the object was a dead cat wrapped in blue and white towels. Signs of neglect were evident.
