The recent surge in cases of cats falling from heights at the SPCA is dire. Since the start of 2023, we are seeing an average of 8 cases of cats falling from heights each week, totaling nearly 30 cats since the start of the year.
This is a 60% increase compared to last year. These are just the cases that SPCA sees and the true number of cases could be much higher.

I was wandering the streets of Bukit Batok in April 2022 when a nice lady called the SPCA - she was worried that I was lost. Since no one claimed me, the SPCA hoomans classified me as suspected abandoned. In 2022, we helped 2,255 animals in total - 869 animals found their #foreverhomes, we responded to 1,573 emergency calls, trapped and sterilised 1,159 dogs, and conducted over 11,658 clinic consultations and 1,804 surgeries.
