Dog Bite Prevention Tip #5 (a fortnightly feature by SPCA) - AVOID GIVING DISCOMFORT TO YOUR DOG! In this photo, the human has set up both dogs in a situation in which they’re clearly uncomfortable. Not all dogs enjoy being photographed, much less being forced into such close proximity. All owners should be able to recognize the stress signals – dilated pupils, whale eye, ears pinned back, closed mouth, stiff body posture, leaning away. If both dogs are stretched beyond their tolerance lim...

17th Jul 2014, by SPCA Singapore

Dogs’ loyalty to their owners knows no bounds…. Woody the dog, left behind by his deceased owner, waited a year for the owner to return - before he got rescued. When Woody's owner died last year, he had to fend for himself outside, all alone and deserted. He, of course, could not tell his owner wouldn’t return for him, so he waited. And waited. 11th Jul 2014, by SPCA Singapore

Adopted doggies can be so happy that they wag their tails while asleep! Frank the Dachshund was neglected as a puppy, whose then-owner thought he would die.
