Richard found this dog lying helplessly under a tree this evening with multiple wounds on her body.
Initially, it was thought that she was engaged in a dog fight but it seems that she may have been slashed by someone instead after closer examination.
Richard immediately sent her to the vet where she was being treated and her wounds cleanse and stitched up.
Thank you to Dr. Satia for attending to emergency calls even at this late hours.

This is the last puppy that got adopted on Saturday during the Adoption Drive.
Thank you very much to the family of this boy for giving her a loving home and also for keeping us posted with her latest photo.

DOGS ON DEATHROW: MPSP DOG POUND

A tall and lean curious looking boy with nice brown coat is waiting to be saved at the pound.
If you can help adopt him, please claim him out from MPSP Dog Pound at Jalan Bertek, 14000 Bukit Mertajam. Operation hours is from Monday till Friday, 8am-5pm and Saturday, 8am-12pm.
Time is running out for those pound dogs. Please act fast if you want to save them.

SPCA SEBERANG PERAI is indeed very grateful of the help rendered by APSP a.k.a MDDB Northern thus far.
Besides helping us with adoption drive on a monthly basis, they have also include us in their "Feed The Hungry" program, running from 30 Sept to 11 Oct, which objective is to help lessen the huge burden of shelter owners and independent rescuers. (FYI: The program will help raise food fund for different shelters/feeders/rescuers every month)

The rain definitely did not stop the crowd from turning up at the Adoption Drive last night.
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank all 13 adopters who adopted a pet from us. You saved a life, cause you opt for adoption. :)
And also not to forget, the team of volunteers who turn up to help...Thank you so so much. Without you, the event would not even materialize.

ANNOUNCEMENT TO SHARE:
APSP and SPCA SEBERANG PERAI will be conducting an Adoption Drive on October 5th, from 7-10pm at Autocity (in front of Shop-In d'Park).
Some of the puppies removed from MPSP Dog Pound will also be put up for adoption on that day.
Do come over to support us and bring along your friends and families...especially those looking for a pet to adopt.

These are the 3 lovely princess saved out from the pound yesterday.
They are all healthy and gotten their 1st vaccination today.
These puppies are currently up for adoption. Do give these pound puppies a second chance.
