August's condition seems to worsen this morning. He looked lethargic with paling gums and decreasing appetite. Vet advised that a blood transfusion needs to be done in order to safe him.
Please help us keep August in your prayers and hope he will pull through.
We shall keep everyone posted with his updates.

August was rescued today by a passerby, Austin at Kampung Kastam. August was spotted wondering aimlessly on the street and later fall right into a drain. Upon seeing this, Austin rushed to his rescued and only then did he noticed the huge open wound on his face filled with maggots.
August was sent to the veterinary clinic where he is recuperating now. The vet has helped to clean most of the maggots out but there are still some hidden deep in the wound which the vet will continue to clean them o...

💙 The Story Of Mask 💚

Exactly one year ago, Mask was found at a temple with half of his face horribly infested with maggots. Due to this, he lost one of his eyes. Now his skin is completely grown and fully covered his facial bone. He is a cheerful and high spirited boy. A big thank you to Mask's rescuer / saviour and now fosterer (Lynn) for taking such good care of him. Thanks to the public for your prayers n well wishes to Mask 💛

9 Puppies Were Adopted To 6 Families Last Night Du..

9 puppies were adopted to 6 families last night during our adoption drive at Autocity.
Thank you for supporting adoption.
For those who missed out the event and are interested to adopt a pet may visit us directly at the shelter today between 3.30-6pm. We are located at No. 162, Jalan Kampung Besar, Berapit, 14000 Bukit Mertajam.
Alternatively, we will again be at Autocity next Saturday, same place, same time. Do come see us there!

A New Home For The Furrykids

A new RM1.8mil animal protection centre will be set up by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Seberang Prai in Juru.
It will house 1,600 strays and come with two dog kennels, a cat kennel, an administrative office, an animal care section, a kitchen and a janitor’s room upon completion next year.
There will also be a multipurpose open barn for holding animal talent shows, awareness campaigns and fundraising activities.

This Great Dane Is Still With Our Fosterer. She Is..

This Great Dane is still with our foster. She is very independence and loyal to a few person who she can trust but she does not get along well with other dogs.
We interviewed a few interested adopters in the past, but none of them qualified to be her owner. We will not let her go if we cannot find a good owner.
