BoBo, The Lucky Stray By Lee Kim Hong
11th Oct 2009, by Noah's Ark CARES

BoBo was one of the unfortunate dogs. She knew exactly how tortuous the wait was. During one of my feeding rounds, we heard her "engine-liked" breathing and that led us to where she was hiding. It was deep into the drains. We were unable to reach her, a bamboo stick was used to shove her out. Out came not only BoBo but heap...

Kopi
18th Sep 2009, by Noah's Ark CARES

Kopi is an 8 year old local breed female stray dog. She was born and abandoned by her mum and lived in an extreme bad environment at Eunos industrial park where nobody would even take a second look at her. Every single day was a challenge to her. She would smile and wagged her tail in the canteen hoping that some kind souls would noticed her and reward her with a piece of meat or even bones to ease her hunger.Sad to say, most of the time the respond that she received was “Shoo! Shoo! Go Away!...

Eby was the adorable black dog featured in the month of May in our 2009 calendar. She began her short, hard life in an industrial estate in Toh Guan. It was a dark and stormy night when Noah’s Ark volunteers heard her crying and found her tied up in a factory, apparently she had been tied up for 24 hours a day come rain or shine. After being rescued that night, Eby was brought to the volunteer’s home and took a bath as she was all wet and filthy. The Adoption Of Lucky Angel By Her Fosterer!
4th Aug 2009, by Noah's Ark CARES

“Angel” – the first thing that comes to my mind is not the pretty little fairy pictured in fairy tales or in the eyes of children, but the image of a stone fish. That is the only thing that can be used to describe how we felt when we first saw her – lonely, aloof, listless and staring blankly into space. Before you read further, please visit the links below for a recap on Angel's story: http://noahsarkcares.blogspot.com/2009/04/angel.ht ml and http://noahsarkcares.blogspot.com/2009/04/upd...

This is how Mdm Goh's story goes.Initially, these dogs were living with a mentally unsound man. We are unsure how he acquired these dogs but he had these four in his home. 13th Jul 2009, by Noah's Ark CARES

The sun was beating down on us mercilessly as we arrived at 9 am to prepare our booth, fortunately the sweltering heat died down half an hour later and we were spared the heat for the rest of the day.
