Thanks To Sharon And The Bunny Team For Giving The Bunnies Lots To Hop About!
8th Apr 2010, by Noah's Ark CARES

In mid June last year 2009, Noah's Ark rabbits (if you have not noticed, the animal sanctuary has a lovable population of rabbits) had something to 'hop' about - they finally moved to a much bigger compound, the likes of a big playground to a child. The new bunny hutch came about after a group of volunteers poured their heart and soul into raising funds for the construction of the place. Very importantly, their passion in the well-being of the bunnies brought fruition to this project. If I could ...

Mata
26th Feb 2010, by Noah's Ark CARES

“Mata” stands for “eyes” in Malay. Many will say, for living beings, the eyes are windows to the soul. Have you ever been blindfolded, and led about? Know how it feels? Insecure, fearful and frustrating? How about being a stray, without food and water and shelter, and without your sense of sight too? One can only imagine the worst – an easy target for being rounded up, getting hurt by industrial tools or more often than not, becoming road kill.Mata, as so he was nam...

Seniors For Seniors
19th Feb 2010, by Noah's Ark CARES

The companionship and devotion of a pet is something that brings joy to life. Our fondest memories and funniest stories often include that certain 4-legged member of the family. The feeling that a pet can inspire has a positive affect on the animal and it's guardian. A feeling that should be enjoyed throughout life.Having a pet keeps a Senior company and provides a two-way care for both human and companion animal. If you know of a senior person who could do with having a dog in their life, please...

ESSO JB Cats
14th Feb 2010, by Noah's Ark CARES

If you been to JB or M'sia and travelled by the 2nd link, most likely when you make the return trip to Singapore, you would probably stop for petrol at one of the nearby gas stations (yes, the petrol is relatively cheaper!). Of all the available stations, have you stopped at ESSO on the way out? Have you taken notice of the many cats / kittens playing and running around the gas station's boundaries, caught them taking a nap under motorcycles or seen them slinking away into the bushes? Cats sitt...

Dogs Visit Mr Tan Before They Leave For Noah's Ark
21st Jan 2010, by Noah's Ark CARES

It was a usual warm Saturday afternoon on 9th January. What wasn’t usual about it was spending it at SWAMI home in Sembawang. We arrived slightly before 4pm with Mr. Tan’s freshly groomed 3 dogs. Mr. Tan was sitting in his wheelchair waiting for us in the foyer, and as he saw the dogs approaching, he broke out into a broad toothy grin, waving and gesticulating happily.Dogs off to visit Mr Tan after their groomingFrom left to right: Mark, Lynda & Joo Kim bringing the dogs to see Mr Tan

Foxy
17th Jan 2010, by Noah's Ark CARES

It was almost one and a half years ago, when I first saw Foxy near my house. I had 2 dogs on the leash and had just started walk them. I saw something white in the bush and found that it was a small dog. He was hiding as he was scared of my dogs. I quickly put my dogs back in the car and asked him to come to me.Surprisingly, he ran to me and jumped up happily many times as if he was asking me to help! He was in very bad condition - extremely skinny and miserable. He didn't have any fur left on h...
