As you can see by these recent posts, SPCA has lately been receiving lots of dogs found lost or abandoned. Many have not yet been reunited with their owners. We would like to advise owners to be cautious and exercise extra care when their gates are opened. We also believe that some could be genuinely abandoned by their irresponsible pet owners. Abandoning is cruel. Take a look at our earlier posts and see if you can help us locate the owners!!

Found lost around Sg. Tiram, Bayan Lepas area. Person who found him kept him (we call him Tofy) for 2 weeks before surrendering to SPCA. In that 2 week period, his fur was cut. Photo on left as he was found, on right is now.

Dog Found at Teluk Kumbar
A Shih Tzu at Teluk Kumbar was found wandering into someone's house 1 week ago (21st Aug) .
Estimated between 5-7 years old. Left eye with cataract. Right eye with slight cataract building up. Male. White fur with light brown patches. Fur was sent for grooming <1 0164933888

Please send photos to photos@spca-penang.net - we will compile an album and make it available on Facebook and our website on October 4. These images can be actual photos or drawings/paintings of your pets. Please include the pet(s) names - dogs, cats, anything!
