Spaying Campaign

Our spaying campaign ended on 30th Sept. A total of 204 cats and dogs were given neutering vouchers.We thank all owners who have taken the initiative to come forward to take this opportunity to help reduce the number of unwanted animals in the state of Penang. In conjunction with World Animal Day which falls on 4th Oct., SPCA is extending our spaying campaign for another month till 31st Oct. This is strictly for cats and dogs which are now 6 months old. I think our society needs a huge "Wake-up" call. As a shelter manager, I am going to share a little insight with you all...a view from the inside if you will. First off, all of you breeders/sellers should be made to work in the "back" of an animal shelter for just one day.
