A coffee and cream coloured female shih tzu puppy was brought into the SPCA Penang.
Reportedly a lost dog.

Hello there,Shenie here. I am a 6 month old female and already very “lady-like”. I observe carefully and think before I bark. When I do bark I make sure it is loud and clear so that people will be alerted. The rest of the “boys” at the shelter seem to be barking all the time at everything that moves even just a bit. A NOTE FROM SPCA PENANG The SPCA team is extremely concerned that of late a number of breed dogsand obviously owner-owned dogs that have been reported as missing, lost orabandoned. Eventually when some of these pets are found, the owner claimsit is routine for the pet to wander outside the house but it always comesback. Dogs Found
Found in Gelugor area. Taken in and looked after by some kind hearted
residents from the area. After a week or so when the dogs started fighting
with the resident dog, they were surrendered to the SPCA. These two dogs
are very buddy-like and show concern for each other's welfare.

Rottweiler Found
This Rottweiler was found in the toilet at the Teluk Bahang Dam. So-it's a
bit hard to figure out why and how a Rottweiler would want to willingly
stay in a toilet (?) Considered to be a rather old dog, the most
outstanding feature is his eyes-he has a very intense penetrating look.
Rather fierce, he has to be approached with caution. This male dog is in a
healthy condition-very obvious that there is an owner somewhere around.

Abandoned Dalmatian
SPCA suspects she had been abandoned or lost. Found roaming in Bukit Lanchang area for the last one week plus, opposite Lam Wah Ee Hospital. She's estimated to be 5 years old. Description:
2 year old female dog.
White with light brown markings.
Blue collar with dog license.
Best friend to 7 year old boy.
Dear Penangites,
I lost my dog on 13 December 2011 at about 4.30pm.
We were at a farm near Batu Hitam, Balik Pulau, 2km from the Sacred Heart
Convent School in Balik Pulau.
I told my dad to take her with us to town instead of leaving her in the farm.
Then when we got back to the farm, she was not there.

"As volunteers working with the dogs on a regular basis, we try not to have favourites but that's almost impossible. Sometimes we find it difficult to understand why some dogs/puppies/cats/kittens are not quickly adopted. This is a plea for Gypsie.
