This male Shih Tzu has just arrived. He was picked up by 2 good samaritans who found him roaming outside Kong Min School Cawangan 2 in Paya Terubong. We believe he may have escaped from his home. Hmm... we just wish whoever his owners are would exercise more care. So far, no one has reported to SPCA of their dog being lost. Would you help SPCA reunite him with his owner? This crossed poodle/terrier female dog was brought in on 21st Jan. She was found in a box near a rubbish dump in Farlim area. From the look of her condition, we don't believe she was abandoned by her owner. The photo was taken after she was given a good bath and groomed. Can anyone recognise her owner? An appeal for a PhD project:
“A closer look at separation related problems in the dog”
Academics at the University of Lincoln, UK, and the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice, Slovakia, have just launched an online survey which aims to improve our understanding of dogs’ behaviour in the owner’s absence.
If you currently own a dog, it would be much appreciated if you took part in the survey, and also passed this on to other dog owners.

Please find below a photo of GR cross which was brought in to the shelter on 18th Jan 2014 (Saturday). He was found hiding under a car behind Teluk Bayan Foodcourt at Sg. Nibong. This handsome German Shepherd Dog was found lost in the area of Midlands Park in Pulau Tikus. He was picked up on Christmas morning. We have been told that he was seen out on the road the night before. He could have been frightened from the sound of fire crackers and must have escaped from the house when the gate was ajar. This male schnauzer was found in the area of Jalan Thomas one week ago. He was wearing a red harness. The finder has now given the dog up to SPCA.
