10 year old female Daschund lost in Desaria, Sungai Ara in Bayan Lepas. Last seen in the morning on 21st February 2015 along Cangkat Kenari 1 and answers to the name "Corrie". Has smooth black fur as per attached photos. Please contact Ha at 012-571-9502 urgently if found as Corrie is diabetic and needs regular insulin treatment. Reward offered if found. Thank you!

Can you commit a few years of your time to this little darling?? This silky terrier is about 8 years old. She's very quiet and shy - she'll take a while to get used to you. We've not been able to find the owners for this 3 year old male dog who was brought in lost/abandoned. He's ultra-friendly, we call him Bruce. He's now available for adoption. For everyone's information - SmartHeart Kids Adventure Tour 2015 Roadtrip to be held at Prangin Mall, Penang for four days - February 12-15. Due to a miscommunication by the event organizers, there is not enough space at the venue for SPCA to run an adoption drive in conjunction with this event. Do drop by at our shelter if you are interested in adopting!

SmartHeart Kids Adventure Tour 2015 Roadtrip will be held at Prangin Mall, Penang for four days - February 12-15. SPCA will be there running an adoption drive and selling merchandise. Do drop by!
Opening hours are 10am to 10pm each day but please note our puppies & kittens can only stay until 4pm, otherwise the hours will be too long for them.

News of Nolan (aka Rock) who was recently adopted from our shelter by Mr. Lee Choo Kwoon
"Nolan now likes to be addressed as Rock to reflect his true spirit. In the top photo, he is sitting proudly with courage under our rambutan tree, undergoing toilet training process. This was undertaken immediately after reaching his new home and you can see his immediate change from a listless timid puppy to a proud courageous guy taking his toilet training attentively and seriously.

Happy tails to Roy who is off to his new home! Roy was surrendered by his owner last week. He was very skinny when he arrived. After a lot of good food, vitamins, love and care by everyone he has made a remarkable recovery. Yesterday, Roy left for his new home with his new owner. We are going to miss him.

This donation in kind was presented by SMJK Form 4 Student. A donation of RM160 was collected from sale of recycle items last year. Dog food, Dettol and toilet paper were purchased and presented yesterday from the monies collected. So nice to note that SPCA was chosen as their beneficiary. Thanks to the teacher Puan S. Thorairaj - the motivator.

Note on emergency calls (04 281 6559). SPCA's Inspectors are disappointed that many times when they attend to emergencies after office hours, there are no animals when they arrive. We will ask that the caller stays with the animal until we arrive. Only genuine emergencies will be attended to out of hours.
