Below is a JRT(Jack Russell Terrier) which is ready for adoption. Only genuine and good loving homes wanted.
Name: Cisco Age: 6-7 years - Admitted to the SPCA on 15th June
History: Surrendered as owner is not able to cope anymore.
Character: Friendly to adults but not really to kids. Likes to seek attention with his squeaky barks whenever he sees someone. Has dainty walks. Does not like to be handled at the muzzle area. One has to be careful with him as he can snap.

This dog was found at our neighborhood area in Sungai Ara.
So far he seems to be in good health.
He's a friendly dog and love to run around the neighborhood.

Updates on Benzie. BENZIE has collected RM350 in donation towards his medical aid. Thanks to the 3 donors who have promptly answered to his appeal on 18th June.
What we have done so far! Shaved him bald as advised. Started his medicated oil bath treatment for his mild dermatitis plus 2 weeks oral medication.
He is friendlier now and has adjusted well to the environment. He is ready to be adopted if someone is willing to continue that's all asked of him. Follow up treatment needed too.

Benzie- Male - Poodle mix - about 3 years old
Admitted: 5th June, 2015
What's done: Vaccinated, dewormed and tick free. Has a mild skin dermatitis condition. Needs medical treatment for a while and of course a clean shave preferably bald as advised by vet.

What's been done: Vaccinated, deflead and just spayed
History: A stray cat around Jalan Helang, Sg. Dua area for a long time. Took her a while to get adapted to our environment. Now she has confidence with staff and volunteers.

Official SPCA comment on the posts over the last 18 hours: A request was made by the owner in which the dog was housed. SPCA deliberately delayed the request and gave the owner time to think over before requesting euthanasia. A week later, the owner called to urgently have the dog taken to be euthanized as the dog was unmanageable. Furthermore, the dog has bitten a member of the family.
