Annually, every 3rd Saturday of each August month is proclaimed as International Homeless Animals' Day. This year, we will run a month long neutering campaign with the hope of encouraging as many pet owners as possible to neuter/spay their pets. Neutering Vouchers of RM150 each for dogs, RM50 for tomcats and RM100 each for female cats will be given to help subsidize pet owners. Vouchers given will only be valid for a month from the date issued. To qualify, the following will be required.

SPCA has picked up a dog this morning from Lintang Bukit Kecil in Sungei Nibong. We have been informed that she has been wandering in that area for the past 2 days.

Tomato Is My Name!

I was previously known as ‘Spots’. Now my new owner calls me ‘Tomato’. I'm very lucky that I have found a good owner. Thank you to SPCA!
Now at my new house, I learn a lot. I have a trainer to teach me to be an obedient puppy. Well…actually I am a good puppy but sometimes you know puppies are like that!!! Mark your calendars.... On August 15th, 2015, we will be commemorating International Homeless Animals' Day (began by ISAR in 1992) with an Open House/Adoption Drive at our shelter from 10am to 2pm. All welcome.

This dog was found at our neighborhood area in Sungai Ara.
So far he seems to be in good health.
He's a friendly dog and love to run around the neighborhood.

Updates on Benzie. BENZIE has collected RM350 in donation towards his medical aid. Thanks to the 3 donors who have promptly answered to his appeal on 18th June.
What we have done so far! Shaved him bald as advised. Started his medicated oil bath treatment for his mild dermatitis plus 2 weeks oral medication.
He is friendlier now and has adjusted well to the environment. He is ready to be adopted if someone is willing to continue that's all asked of him. Follow up treatment needed too.
