LUNA IS READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME! This sweetie is now 2 1/2 months old, full of puppy energy when it's playtime and calm and quiet when it's time to snuggle ... or ride in the car! STAY TUNED for SHELTER DOGS -- THE SEQUEL! The new video will be released SOON to celebrate ADOPT NOW DAY at the SSPCA Shelter. Sunday December 6. The public are invited from 10A to meet the animals they wish to bring into their families and homes. Merchandise and donations tables open at 1P. And the pageant starts at 2P -- be prepared for some fun! We will stay open to process adoptions and send our furry friends to their new homes, however late it takes.

*** UPDATE ON THE TABUAN PLAZA PUPPIES ***
The two boys always around the laundry next to H&L captured the hearts of many. They are now in the home of Senty Leykom, the Animal Welfare Officer at the SSPCA Shelter. Yes, Senty works 6 full days a week caring for our shelter animals, and then spends the rest of her work day and day off fostering special cases like these. They are receiving skilled care for their skin conditions -- we hope to show you great "after" photos of the two boys soon.

REWARD FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO ARREST AND CONVICTION OF PERSON(S) POISONING DOGS
SSPCA has received RM1000 to start a reward fund, to find the killer of our shelter dogs. Please spread the word. To contribute to the reward fund, you can bring cash or check to the shelter 8A-4P any day, or to the adoption campaign on Sundays; you will receive a receipt identifying the specific purpose of your contribution and the money will be segregated.

*** PLEASE HELP US CATCH THE PERSON WHO IS POISONING DOGS NEAR THE SSPCA SHELTER *** Over the past day six of our shelter friends have been the victims of poisoning. Four are dead; two are fighting for their lives. The poison is a neurotoxin like strychnine. It appears it is being fed to the dogs in cafe-type food like chicken meat, anchovies and fish.
