A CALL FOR ACTION: SSPCA needs your help. We need:
VOLUNTEERS -- help us distribute posters to promote our new Saturday adoption campaign; help transport animals between the shelter and the campaign venue (hopefully a one-way trip); help at the Saturday and Sunday campaigns by attending the info table and meeting the public; help at the shelter any day, bathing and feeding and socializing the animals and teaching them that humans can be trusted.

SEEKING ASSISTANCE IN SIBU:
Hi Sibu community, I am having a problem over here where there is a stray female dog wandering around my house.
We tried to feed her every night and pet her as much as we could. and had developed a long relationship with her, but she apparently still couldn't trust us 100%. Recently other male dogs are coming and mating with her. She'd been giving birth 3 times since then.
But we tried everytime to spay her, but the biggest problem is, we could touch her, pet her...

I AM A SHELTER DOG. What will happen to me if someone doesn't give me a home? I've heard that at this time of year people do "spring cleaning" and some decide to throw out their pets. THANK YOU kind animals lovers for your support this past weekend. Four adult dogs are howling with happiness that they have homes! Puppies will be raised by loving families. Our shelter has much-needed chicken and cleaning products.
