THE POWER OF LOVE, AND FOSTERING, AND COMMITTING TO ADOPT. We have had such sad news lately at SSPCA, we want to share a happy story. Remember the small toy girl that was brought to the shelter on 22 December with terrible burns on her back? That's the photo on the upper right -- and look at her now! Adopted by an SSPCA foster family, such a glamour girl!!

PLEASE HELP US FIND THE KILLER OF THESE PUPPIES, Yesterday these were 4 healthy, lively, playful pups. Please take a moment and a hard look at the photos, and see if you can tell us anything about this litter. Perhaps you have seen them playing in your neighborhood, or have other information that can tell us where they came from -- before they were dumped over the fence at the SSPCA shelter around 00:30 February 26.

KITTEN KRAZY THIS SATURDAY AT MONKEEBAR! We will have every version of precious and cute you can imagine. And yes, we'll have dogs and puppies too. Leap Year gives you an extra day to enjoy a pet -- don't waste it!

ANIMAL ABANDONMENT IS A CRIME!
Earlier today, one of our shelter staff about to start the daily kennel cleaning routine and were shock to discover 4 dead puppies scattered behind the shelter. Shame on the owner!! These puppies were condemned to death after they were tossed into the shelter in a box and left alone among the adult dogs that bit them to death. I WANT ME-OUT OF HERE! If you are a cat lover, please give a kitten a proper home -- not in a cage with barking dogs all around 24/7, but safe and secure with your family. WAITING SO PATIENTLY -- consider giving one of our older puppies a chance to show their loyalty and love. We have some wonderful dogs at the shelter under one year of age, fully vaccinated and already neutered. They are eager to be trained, healthy and playful, and "what you see is what you get" -- now fully grown, their personalities are apparent but they haven't learned any bad habits. You will make all the difference in their young lives if you can provide a home.

FUR-EVER HOMES ARE WUNDERFULLLLLLL! Yesterday I started out in a cage, with so many other puppies in cages around me. But then some kind men came to The MonkeeBar and told me they loved me and would care for me and make me part of a family. Whew it was an amazing day!
