Lissa Itchel
3 year ago, Lissa was still studying in Form 4. Ann Lesley White, our SSPCA volunteer conversed with Lissa, and fetch Lissa to our shelter at 7th Mile area. Lissa wanted to adopt Lulu on her first sight, even though she knew of Lulu’s health condition. As a student, Lissa had not much pocket money, but Ann helped Lissa in her adoption fees.
All Lissa wanted was a best friend, and Lulu just caught her attention, albeit of Lulu’s health condition. Lulu had a happy time staying ...

SAVE ROCKY
02.12.2016 - SSPCA received a message from Mr Wee Chai Hui during lunch time.
According to Mr Wee, he noticed that Rocky had a nylon-twisted-string collar since 2 weeks ago. He tried to catch Rocky but to no avail. Rocky had been with a pack of strays loitering around the area of Hong Leong Bank at Jalan Pending, opposite UMW Toyota.
Mr Wee realised the collar had caused a deeper skin abrasion around Rocky's neck, and called for help. In no time, our Rescue Team, headed by Miss Shi...

This is Big Boy, a Labrador. He was abandoned by his owner for being old (10 years old) and has skin problem. When he came to us, his condition was horrible. Couldn't open his eyes, bleeding all over. Now he is so much better looking.
To us he is one handsome old boy and one happy fella. Big Boy, we will not give up on you and will care for you till you decide to leave.
Of course, we wish someone would come and give him a home where he can live the remainder of his life instead of staying at t...

Rescued Animals - Public 2nd Dec 2016, by SPCA Sarawak
Jacqueline Pianta shared a very touching story of her mum last Friday, after we shared our adopter’s furkids. Here’s what she wrote to us:-
My mum has never been an animal person, let alone adopting any dogs. After much considerations in late 2014, my mum had agreed to adopt Imau from SSPCA’s Adoption Campaign at Boulevard. Later on, my mum adopted her second dog, Scooby, from her friend.
One day, my mum found a dog laying on the road after a hit-and-run. She called our local council, M...

3 sibblings were sent to shelter by DBKU back in September 2016. They used to live at Siol Kandis. They were less than a month old then. They were known as 'The Brownies'.
BraveHeart had gone to Rainbow's Bridge, while BayBay and Teddy are living happily with their adopted parents. Both adopted parents agreed that BayBay and Teddy are playful and adorable.
If you have adopted your furrykids from us, we would love to know how they arr doing now. Message us, to share your stories with us.
