As rice is a staple, Chinese believe that rice buckets must be filled to the brim (米缸长满). It signifies having an abundance of food on the table throughout the year.
Our rice bank has definitely filled up to the brim today by generous donor, Mr Lee.
Thanks for never failing to send some rice to our animals shelter before CNY and many other occasions too. We are grateful to have someone like you who thinks of the underprivileged.
