Your female pet will live a longer, healthier life. Spaying helps prevent uterine infections and breast tumors, which are malignant or cancerous in about 50 percent of dogs and 90 percent of cats. Spaying your pet before her first heat offers the best protection from these diseases.
Neutering your male companion prevents testicular cancer and some prostate problems.

Be responsible pet owner
While we were busy cleaning the kennels this morning, an irresponsible person threw these puppies of less than a week into our ground. The puppies barely open their eyes and require their mother's milk. We dont have any lactating bitch at our shelter, if any of you have one, please let us know.
To the person whom dumped these puppies over our fences, please SPAY your bitch! If not, how many times do you want to commit such sins?

Kibbles – how safe is it?
Many of us are feeding our pets with dry kibble diet consisting of at least 60% carbohydrate, very little moisture and minimal /low quality protein. Much of the protein in commercial kibble is plant based. It does not make any sense to expect our pets to eat this type of diet all day long, and be satisfied both physically and nutritionally.

A group of students from SEGi College is working on their CSR project to raise much needed funds for SSPCA.
2 types of delicious cookies; chocolate and butter, are on sale at a price of RM4 per pack of two. All profits made shall be contributed to SSPCA.
