The dogs are barking loudly and the cats are purring with love.
A huge pawry thanks to a social hiking group whom called themselves as BJV Hiking Club (formerly known as Borneo Joyous Venture) led by Ching Eng Meng, for making a special huge contribution to our residence.
Every single drop of 'sweat' from these hikers was collected to buy 150 packs of rice, dogs' kibbles and wet-food, and not forgetting dry food for our cats.

๐ถ Hello! My name is Spotty. I'm turning 8months old by Christmas.
I was told to wag my tail and jump with joy to welcome anyone whom walks into my family home,.... yet I'm still stuck in this shelter.
I've been given 3 vaccinations and spayed. I wish that I were borned as a Dalmation, but I'm comfy being 18 inches tall.

Adoption Procedure
- Visit our Animal Shelter at 7th Mile area, or our off-site adoption drive and see the variety of animals available.
- You will be briefly interviewed by staff/volunteer to find out more about your experience with animals, residence & housing arrangements for the animal.
- Enquire about the adoption fee and conditions for adopting the animal.
- Fill in the adoption form, make the donation and take your pet home.

Meet Sinki
Sinki is a 7 months old. She has been a good girl at our shelter, and we hope Santa Claus or Santarina would adopt her.
We used to shower her in our washing basin when she was a young puppy. Eversince then, Sinki has grown fond with sink (basin), hence her name 'Sinki'.
Sinki has completed all her vaccinations, and spayed.

We can't be running this animal shelter if it were not you. Every donor โ every ringgit, every pinch of rice, every drip of your sweat โ makes a difference. Thank you to each and every one of you. You change lives!
For us, the need is not a world away...it is right in our backyard. And the need is great. So thank you for meeting needs in the past and thank you, in advance, for the continued need we know you will meet.

Ben is a playful yet obedient 5 months old Mongrel. Ben is always seen at the gate of our puppies zone, woofing at many people to give him a furever home. If you could connect well with him, he will be your most loyal friend ever.

This is 5 months old Betra. She is a very playful girl who is full of energy! Betra is an active Mongrel and requires a lot of exercise to keep her healthy and happy. Betra has completed all her vaccinations, inclusive of anti-rabies vaccination too, await for her spaying.

Sibbling Twinkle and Twinkie have the most beautiful silky black coat, as well as being super-sweet characters. Both Twinkle & Twinkie are ready for their forever home. Both are friendly dogs with plenty of loves to give their adopter.

A group of students from Hospitality Management and Culinary Faculty chose SSPCA as beneficiary for their MPU2112 Pengurusan Ko-Kurikulum. They are all animals lovers, especially dogs and cats.
The SEGi students baked cookies to raise funds for our shelter. They sold their delicious cookies during our off-site adoption canpaign at Green Heights Mall and our SSPCA Christmas Charity Carnival. They managed to raise RM1,815 through their efforts.

Toilet Training
The secret to successful toilet training lies in PREVENTION, not correction! Unless your dog is about 80-90% reliably toilet trained, it must not have the run of the house. Make sure you have a safe, puppy-proofed area where the dog will stay when you are unable to supervise him. This area will also serve as the dogโs toilet if it is to be trained to do its business on newspaper. A safe area could be either a playpen or the kitchen/laundry area.

What a lovely surprise from Level Up Fitness' strong men and women today. They brought two loadful of truck of paw-tastic goodies for our dogs and cats.
Level Up celebrated their 8th Anniversary in October, and we are very grateful that they chose SSPCA as one of their beneficiaries. We were told that their CEO, Mr Kenny Sia had to do burpees to raise funds.

Dogs and cats abandonment issues have become more prevalent in our society. This has been a problem for quite some time as seen by the overcrowded animal shelter. Every day of the week people abandon their dogs at the animal shelters, their foreclosed home, pet-shops and on the side of the roads.
