Tips for you to calm your dogs:
- Plenty of exercise earlier in the day.
- Keep them accompanied.
- Keep them indoor as a safe retreat.
- Close your windows and curtains.
- Put on ID tags on your dogs.
- Give them their favourite toys/treats.
- Play soothing music.
Keep your dogs safe and sound duri...

We just received an unexpectedly 'ang pao' (red packet). This is NOT what we would expect from pet owners to do.
Please be responsible pet owner by desexing your pet to prevent unwanted litters.
If you chose not to desex your pet (due to whatever reasons/logics that you believe in), rehome the litters as that is your responsibility. Abandoning them at our shelter's gate is a solution at all.

Abandoned Case
Every year before Chinese New Year, everyone starts to spring clean their houses, and that including their pet dogs.
It is sad to see this dog (Lucky, as the owner written its name), was tied to our shelter's fence. Lucky looked fierce and scare, because he was placed at an unknown place by his owner. Lucky is sick, and hence the owner decided to dispose him too.
We just couldn't understand, why some owners choose to send their sick dogs away rather nursing them back to health...

Why desexing is recommend?
Unwanted pregnancies
Desexing is recommeded to prevent unwanted pregnancies in female. This is especially important for cats and dogs. Desexing automatically stops the cycles and the associated bleeding and attention from male.
Undesirable behaviour
