The vaccines used to treat your dog as preventative medicine are most likely attenuated vaccines, contain a small live part of the germ it is used to inoculate the dog against. Morocco Has Been Dealing With Rabies Since Early 1.. 1st Sep 2018, by SPCA Sarawak
Morocco has been dealing with Rabies since early 1900s. Rabies is still endemic in Morocco today. From this chart alone, culling the dog population DID NOT improve the situation, but effective vaccination and neutralisation DOES.
While the numbers are showing trend of improvement, an annual death of 19 is still unacceptable as Rabies is a preventable disease. Their own report suggested Responsible Pet Ownership and Public Awareness as one of the most effective solutions, not short-sighted mass ...

SSPCA against culling of stray dogs
Borneo Post, August 31, 2018
KUCHING: The Sarawak Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) is calling on the Sarawak government and local councils across the state to compound stray dogs rather than cull them.
While culling may become necessary, there must be a broad acceptance of the fact that culling by itself would not solve the problem, said a statement issued by SSPCA yesterday.
“Much of the problem of stray dogs stems from irresponsible...

This Dog Was Found At The Shoplots Across Our Anim.. 28th Aug 2018, by SPCA Sarawak
This dog was found at the shoplots across our animal shelter. An irresponsible citizen had just abandoned the dog.
We discovered that the dog suffered rabies symptoms, and decided to trap it. The dog was humanely put down by our vet, and to send it for laboratory test.
A life, or more, could have been lost, had we not discover it earlier. You, as an irresponsible pet owner, would have murdered the whole community at 7th Mile Bazaar, just because of your ignorance on vaccinating your pet.
A...

It is a weekly ritual of Joey giving Xiao Bai a good body scrub on every Saturday's morning. Everything was normal, Joey even didn't suspect anything peculiar on Xiao Bai. As Joey was pouring water onto Xiao Bai's back, he bit o...
