A female Indonesian national was yesterday sentenced to one month’s imprisonment after she pleaded guilty to possessing 135 turtle eggs.
Asnawati Ahmad, 60, appeared before Sessions Court Judge Mohd Taufik Mohd alias Mohd Yusoff without being represented by any legal counsel. The jail term takes effect from May 18 – the date of her arrest.

In conjunction with SSPCA and The Foodchow Foodtruck, we are aiming to raise RM10k for the SSPCA’S spay and neutering program. Protect these animals by reducing the population of strays in the State.
