KUCHING: There has been a drastic drop in the adoption rate at the Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) shelter here since the first rabies case broke out two years ago.
According to SSPCA president Datin Dona Drury-Wee, the shelter recorded only 47 animals being adopted last year, versus 425 adoptions in 2017 – representing a decline of over 80 per cent

Any hot environment can cause heatstroke in dogs, but the most common cause is a careless action by a pet owner, such as forgetting to provide water and shade to pets that are outdoors.
If you were to leave your dog outdoor, please ensure that you have given sufficient water for your pet to consume. If you put them on leash, please make sure that the leash is long enough for the dog to access to its drinking bowl and shade.
