Sometimes a dog howls when music is played or sung. Many people think of a dog's howl as a canine attempt to make music.
Howling is a form of communication that can indicate loneliness in an isolated dog, but typically serves other social functions. Dogs howl to assemble the 'pack' and also to reinforce the identity of the group.
The dog's howl has a sonorous, mournful sound to the human ear. However, canines participating in group howling seem to like it.

Some human think I'm just a dog,
because I have 4 legs.
A big long tail and fluffy ears,
I sit on my hind legs and beg.
But what they do not understand,
is a dog's life is very hard.
I protect my owners all the time,
And my property I guard.
I'm not allowed at the dining table,
I don't get to choose what I eat.
My food gets placed in a bowl on the floor,
With dry food and tinned meat.
I'm not allowed out on my own,
I have a choker chain and a lead.

"My caretakers said that we both look same-same. They call me 'Bunny'. I, of course, am very angry lah. I told them that I am cuter, don't you think so?"
Bunny, the pup, was left on the street to fend for himself near our animals shelter when he was a month old. He could barely survive without his mother.
Bunny is 3+ months old now. A very 'manja' boy seeking for fur-ever home. If you're a responsible pet owner, you can adopt him.
