A wonderful sight whenever we arrive at our animals' shelter. Kenyalang never fail to greet anyone at the gate. With his daily smile, it gives us strength to work.

When I was 2months old, I was separated from my mother. I was too young to fend for myself. It was December 2016, I remember clearly, that guy left me in a filthy garbage bin, full of flies. I screamed out of my lung, and a lady came to my aid. She named me 'Shentel'.

3 kittens were left in a carton box at our gate 8 months ago. It was a heavy downpour the night before. Cold, scared, and hungry, they were immediately brought into our shelter when our staff reported for duty. 'Lonely' is the only sibling left.

Kuching: Sausage is their pet dog, a hero as the canine sacrificed herself to save her ownerβs family from a possible snake attack at their home.
