World Animals Day is celebrated on the 4th of October. This day is celebrated to improve the living and welfare conditions of the animals by raising their status and creating awareness about the animals.
Human beings, being the most evolved species of animals, it is our duty and responsibility to take care that these innocent animals are not harmed because the planet Earth is as much theirs as it is ours.

Little YOLO was found struggling at the roadside of Samarahan. She was brought to our shelter by a Malay lady on Sunday's evening.
Brought her for medical check-up at Animal Central Veterinary Clinic in the afternoon. The joints on her left hind leg is quite peculiar. She doesn't seem like she was ran over by a vehicle, but more of unique bone formation of her joints.

Indoor cats are not susceptible to diseases? Think again. Cats DON'T actually have nine lives! You need to protect them through vaccinations. Vaccination shots protect your cat from diseases and strengthens its immune system.
When?
Kittens should start getting vaccinations when they are 6 to 8 weeks old until about 16 weeks old. They must also be boostered a year later. Adult cats are advised to be boostered annually.

Before you rescue an animal from the street, pause a moment. Make sure you have a backup plan, should animals shelter turns down your request. Most animal shelters do not always have a space. They have many animals on hands waiting to be adopted.
If you rescue the animal, please foster and nurse the animal temporary, until the animal is healthy. Take up a few photos, write a few basic descriptions about the animals. You can share it in social media; seeking people to adopt.

The furkids at SSPCA animals shelter are pleading for your help! We need to raise RM7,000 every month to ensure consistent meat supplies.
Our 400 resident dogs consume 70kg of chicken neck and breast meat, and also 10kg of minced beef everyday. We just couldn't do it without your help!
