Hi guys, Don't forget we really need to get more stalls for our Christmas Charity Bazaar on Dec 3rd. The Bazaar will start at 11am til 7pm. Carlsberg has agreed to sponsor beer for our Beer Garden which will run from 2pm to 7pm!! Also looking for volunteer entertainment!

Pet overpopulation...the facts are simple. There are just too many pets and not enough homes. The overpopulation problem has reached crisis state and the SSPCA is dedicated to helping end this crisis by offering and promoting spaying and neutering. All cats and dogs needed to be neutered before putting up for adoption.

Another 7 puppies brought in by a town council's catchers today. How many must be born, die or become abused strays before people wake up and have their pets neutered? Many owners who bring in their own puppies or dogs claiming that they're strays seem to have forgotten that we see both strays and unwanted pets DAILY and can tell what's what. You must understand - you will pay to bring your animal to our shelter. Many people seem to be under the misconception that things related to an animal shelter are free. The cost to maintain an animal shelter is incredible. The shelter must pay for food, vet bills, rent, insurance, medication, heat, electric, phone, website, advertising, staff, and hundreds of other things that all businesses have to pay for.
