Hey Guys, this Saturday from 630pm Yen's Suite (Brighton Square) is doing a fund raiser for SSPCA. They are selling coupons for dinner at RM50 each on 19th Nov. Dinner starts from 630pm. Some Hard Facts About The Shelter

We are a NO kill shelter which means we do not euthanize to combat overcrowding. HOWEVER, a lot of the animals die off because each staff has on average 80 - 90 animals to look after and quite a few of these will be sick and require special medical attention which we cannot provide since we do not have a fulltime inhouse veterinarian at the moment. Hi guys, Don't forget we really need to get more stalls for our Christmas Charity Bazaar on Dec 3rd. The Bazaar will start at 11am til 7pm. Carlsberg has agreed to sponsor beer for our Beer Garden which will run from 2pm to 7pm!! Also looking for volunteer entertainment!

Pet overpopulation...the facts are simple. There are just too many pets and not enough homes. The overpopulation problem has reached crisis state and the SSPCA is dedicated to helping end this crisis by offering and promoting spaying and neutering. All cats and dogs needed to be neutered before putting up for adoption.

Another 7 puppies brought in by a town council's catchers today. How many must be born, die or become abused strays before people wake up and have their pets neutered? Many owners who bring in their own puppies or dogs claiming that they're strays seem to have forgotten that we see both strays and unwanted pets DAILY and can tell what's what. Some owners look shocked when we tell them to have their pets (both male and female) neutered but they will dump the puppies somewhere without a second tho...
