Did anyone use the roundabout at BDC (near Four Points) and see an injured kitten dragging itself around that area? This was sent a few hours ago to our Facebook message box but we can't possibly standby in front of a computer and refresh it every minute.

Wolly's Story 10th Feb 2013, by SPCA Sarawak
Had a rubber band tied to his right hind leg when he was barely weeks old so it needed to be amputated. Fostered at a home and returned to the shelter after he'd recovered from surgery and had had two vaccinations only to be adopted a few months later by someone who didn't care about him and left him to roam in public like a stray. Good thing he was spotted by a friend and brought back to the shelter but what now?

With a few ml of liquids dripped under her skin every hour, she seemed to have taken a few steps away from death but it's still too early to tell.

How Convenient 18th Jan 2013, by SPCA Sarawak
Not only was he dumped because of the lump on his belly, the owner didn't even bother with a goodbye as he was handed over together with a cheap and rough chain to be dragged into the council cage and sent off for disposal.

Another Mass Dumping By A Cat Hoarder 11th Jan 2013, by SPCA Sarawak
These 11 cats were probably dumped into one of DBKU's cages because all of them seemed to have been caught in the rain and arrived at the shelter wet, hungry and frightened. Looking at how comfortable they were with each other, it's safe to say that they all came from the same household.

Harmless And Contented 9th Jan 2013, by SPCA Sarawak
Possibly one of the oldest strays in Kuching judging from his teeth. Perfectly contented to laze around in public and surprisingly enough, his favourite spot is between two Muslim shops. It's nice to see that he's tolerated and that most people just let him be even if they don't like dogs.
