Happy Friday from our pretty girl Buttercup here! :) She has a very special heart-shaped marking on her back. She is about 1-2 years old.
She is a little timid when meeting new friends or going new places, maybe because of someone who has hurt her before in her sad past.
But all she ever wants is someone who is willing to let her be part of a Family. Are you that person?
Come visit our shelter or our Adoption booth this weekend to meet our shelter animals for yourself :)

Do you know? There are about 170 homeless cats in the shelter, awaiting for that day that they can be part of a place called HOME. Instead of buying your pet from a store, why not give them a second chance in life?

1. They Teach Kids Values- Even doing simple chores like pouring food into a dish, kids will learn that pets are just like people, need food, shelter, exercise, and love as well.

BaBa on his 5th day at the shelter. No discharge and skin looks good and healing well. It's a tricky spot because there's tension on it which increases whenever he moves so it's a good thing that he's a calm and quiet dog which makes it all the more impossible to understand why he was hacked.

# Things to Consider before Adopting a Cat from SSPCA:
1. Is your Family ready for a Cat? Make sure everyone in the house is prepared to have a cat before your new pet comes home.

1. They help protect your pet from a number of serious and even deadly diseases.

Imagine a roof that's leaking whenever there's rain. So you put a pail under each leak. Then imagine more leaks appear. So you find more pails and put one each under every leak everytime it rains. The problem is the leaks need to be patched up or when they get too many, the roof needs to be replaced. The roof represents people. The leaks represent animal abuse and dumpings. This wasn't an aggressive dog but a friendly and harmless one which got hacked by someone who was described as being mentally unstable. Why is it that such people are allowed to mix with society unsupervised if they cannot contribute anything useful?
