Would you like to have an opportunity to find happy homes for our shelter animals and share their joy? :) Look at all the happy faces we see every Adoption Day! What is SSPCA Adoption Day?SSPCA Adoption Days is usually on Sundays 10am-3pm at various shopping malls in Kuching, Sarawak. (Boulevard Shopping Mall, Plaza Merdeka, Green Heights Mall, etc). Would you like to volunteer for the SSPCA WAG Music Festival on Oct 12th? Volunteers are needed for the Animazing Race, WAG Bazaar, Wiggle Waggle Walk and the WAG Music Concert as well. There isn't anything SSPCA stresses more than NEUTERING/SPAYING your pets! Besides controlling strays population, it can help increase your pet's quality of life giving it a healthier & happier life :)
Neutering Male Cats/Dogs: Eliminates testicular tumors and reduces prostate gland problems.
Spaying Female Cats/Dogs: Reduces or eliminates the possibility of disease in the reproductive system.

#Fact :Do you know that about 9 out of 10 cats and dogs SSPCA rescues from being dumped is a FEMALE?
Gender bias doesn't only exists in humans, but their attitude towards pets as well. The main reason being that females can keep reproducing and males don't. Many people also assume that male cats/dogs make better pets.

Tomorrow from 7am-9am SSPCA and 17 teams of volunteers will be conducting a Stray Animal Survey in the MBKS area as well as the DBKU area this side of the river. This is in collaboration with MBKS, DBKU, MPP and Vet Dept. Thanks to EPT Sdn Bhd for sponsoring our Tshirts!

I'm For Adoption :)

She was found lost and hungry wandering in the streets and was brought to our shelter. A few weeks has passed and no one came to claim her so we are putting her up for adoption.
She's a pretty lady, about 6-7 years old and already neutered. If you think you can share your love with her, pls do come over and meet her at our shelter! :)
