Called The Owner This Morning And Was Told That He..

Called the owner this morning and was told that he hand over the dog to MPSP personally as he could no longer take care of him since he will be moving to a flat.
I questioned him then why didn't he try to find an adopter for him instead of handing over the dog to the pound, where he has to suffer being cramped up in a cage with others dogs, and getting injured in possible dog fights?
He said he trust no one to take care of his dog.

25.01.14 - My 8th Trip to MPSP Dog
The pound is currently overloaded with puppies and dogs. I was in shocked looking at the many of them that I totally lost count of the numbers. I did my best trying to get all their photos, but sadly I could just get as many as i can.
It's a real pitiful sight seeing them cramped up in cages.

I am a coward, I admit.
Though I am involved in animal rescues, but never will I dare myself to enter a dog pound. I know that if I ever did, I will be mentally and emotionally shattered.
Today, I made a great breakthrough and overcome my fear. For the last few days, I have heard of so many dogs and puppies captured at the pound. A total of 41 adult dogs & 11 puppies! And since the pound is already at its max capacity, its just a matter of time before each and every one of these furkids will b...

APSP is introducing a new program known as "FEED THE HUNGRY" to help raise food for Private Shelters and Independent Feeders. A packet of 10kgs rice cost approximately RM17.00. For this small amount, you can help keep the needy animals away from hunger. We will be raising food for different shelters and feeders each month. One look at this haggard old dog and you might thought he is some homeless stray without a home and has been loitering on the streets for quite a while...but sadly, he DOES has a owner. Chris spotted a broken back dog dragging her hind legs to move around at Raja Uda today. He jumped into her rescue immediately (though the dog was quite aggressive) and sent her to the vet clinic for treatments. Her hind legs were badly injured due to the excessive dragging. We are appealing to the Public to help find her a shelter/home as her condition is longer suitable to be released back on the streets. After 3 months spotted this rotten penis dog, today God sent angels to rescue him. Thank you to all volunteers who make the rescue mission happened. Thank you to Chris Kuah for the sleeping pills, and thank you to Terri and her mother who help us foster this dog until we receive the sampling result from UPM next week. The dog has been sent to Venice Vet in Bukit Mertajam. Unfortunately due to no boarding space, and too malnutrition, this dog has to be treated at home with nutritious diet...
