Fundraising For Hit & Run Victim, JJ

UPDATES AS AT 120214:
JJ has been discharged from the vet clinic today and sent to a private shelter where she will be cared for during her recuperation period.
JJ still needs to be on cast for another month and after which we will know if her broken leg will make a full recovery or not.
Total cost for JJ's medical bill is RM860.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all our donors for helping to sponsor JJ's medical expenses.

Update On These 2 Pups. They Are Now About 2.5 Mon..

They are now about 2.5 months old. A neighbour is helping rescuer to foster them until next Adoption Drive. They still have no luck finding adopters.
And due to the new job and time constraint (fosterer is working 7-11am and 4-10pm daily), the pups are not taking care well. There were soak in urine and poop, fed once a day with rice and fish (prepared ...

DOGS ON DEATHROW: MPSP DOG POUND

Elly was a rescued from the pound.
We posted her photo on FB and soon after Felicia contacted us with intention to adopt her. We were so happy for Elly that arrangement was made to spay her before sending her to her new home. Unfortunately, our happiness was short-lived as we soon found out that Elly was tested positive of parvo. She was having bloody diarrhea and needs to be put on drips. Luckily, Elly is an optimistic girl. Her strong will to live enable her to have a speedy recovery.

I am a coward, I admit.
Though I am involved in animal rescues, but never will I dare myself to enter a dog pound. I know that if I ever did, I will be mentally and emotionally shattered.
Today, I made a great breakthrough and overcome my fear. For the last few days, I have heard of so many dogs and puppies captured at the pound. A total of 41 adult dogs & 11 puppies! This Young Kitten Was Witnessed By Joanne Being Ab..

This young kitten was witnessed by Joanne being abandoned by its owner near Raja Uda, Butterworth. The kitten was "meowing" nonstop as it sees the owner sped off in his bike.
Poor thing, if not for Joanne, the kitten may not have survived through the ordeal.

Updates:
Owner went to the pound just now to see for himself the condition of his dog...yes, the dog that he had betrayed and sent to the pound just because he trust no one but the local council to care for his dog. Now, his dog had injured his leg due to possible dog fight and is seen limping.

APSP a.k.a MDDB & MCCP NORTHERN has utilised the remaining fund from "Feed The Hungry" Program, amounting RM300 for Esther's Shelter.
