This Cat Was Found By A Rescuer Giving Birth Under..

This cat was found by a rescuer giving birth under a kampung house at Batu Uban. All her 3 kittens died, right after birth and so rescuer decided to take her in.
Soon after, they found something not right with her and so decided to bring her to consult a vet. Apparently, a dead kitten was still stuck in her womb.
She was admitted to Peng Aun Vet Clinic where surgery was conducted to remove the dead kitten and also to spay her at the same time.
Total surgery cost is RM300.00. APSP will be bear...

Volunteer Went To Mpsp Dog Pound Today And Found O..

Volunteer went to MPSP DOG POUND today and found only 3 female dogs left at the pound.
The others --- MIA (Missing-in-Action). The staff from pound said that some has been adopted while other has somehow managed to escape. True or not? We have no idea...
Please help to find homes for these 3 female dogs left at the pound before they, too went missing.
APSP will help bear the spaying fee for these dogs if anyone can help adopt them.

A Female Dog Estimately About 6-8 Months Old Is Fo..

A female dog estimately about 6-8 months old is found straying in Taman Selat office carpark area. She is alone and the feeder is afraid she might get hurt/abused by the cars/passers by.
She will be spayed in 1-2 days and ready for adoption, or else she has to be released back to the streets as community dog. Please help her by giving her a good home. She is very tame, clean and friendly. No adoption fee applies.

APSP’s “FEED THE HUNGRY” is initiated to help raise food for Private Shelters and Independent Feeders.
From 27-February-14 till 20-March-14, we will be raising food fund for SPCA Seberang Perai.
Mdm. Tan is a 66 years old retiree who runs the shelter practically on her own. She needs approximately 10 packets of 10kgs rice daily to feed her many hundreds of furrykids at the shelter and also to prepare food for dogs imprisoned at MPSP Dog Pound. Besides caring for those in her shelter, M...

Due to the overcrowded situation at the pound, dogs may at times have to sleep, sitting at one spot since there is hardly any place to move about.
This is a good looking GS mixed currently imprisoned at MPSP DOG POUND.

Spotted a few nice dogs at the pound that indeed after some basic grooming, they are surely to turn into beautiful pets.
Do give it a thought in adopting a pound dog, if you are looking for pet to adopt. They make great companions, just like any other pure breeds. And in addition, they come with one advantage, they are...."Streets Smart"! (*15 new photos added)

I am a coward, I admit.
Though I am involved in animal rescues, but never will I dare myself to enter a dog pound. I know that if I ever did, I will be mentally and emotionally shattered.
Today, I made a great breakthrough and overcome my fear. For the last few days, I have heard of so many dogs and puppies captured at the pound. A total of 41 adult dogs & 11 puppies! Fundraising For Hit & Run Victim, JJ

UPDATES AS AT 120214:
JJ has been discharged from the vet clinic today and sent to a private shelter where she will be cared for during her recuperation period.
JJ still needs to be on cast for another month and after which we will know if her broken leg will make a full recovery or not.
Total cost for JJ's medical bill is RM860.
