Updates as at 20 August 2014:
This Chow Chow that was earlier rescued with a fractured shoulder and poor health condition had at last passed through her many hurdles and will be ready for discharged by end of the week.
Her medical bill as of to-date has come up to RM3200 and since she still need her medication and injection daily, we are expecting her medical bill by end of this week to be around RM3500.

This Cat Was Spotted By Someone Dragging Itself Pi.. 19th Jul 2014, by MDDB & MCCP Penang
This cat was spotted by someone dragging itself pitifully in wet along Lorong Pitt, Georgetown.
A young student, Vernice immediately went to the cat's rescued once she saw the appeal and had the cat sent to the vet.
Initial examination shown that the cat may suffer from broken spine and also internal injuries. For a detailed diagnosis, the vet will need to do further check up today.

We receive news from a reliable source that TAR COLLEGE in Penang has trapped 3 dogs tonight and had them chained with the intention to hand them over to MPPP tomorrow.
Very well, we know the faith of these dogs once in the hands of MPPP.
Please let us work together and call the college to let them know this is not the right way to solve the problem of strays.

A male Akita mixed had been surrendered by his owner to MPSP DOG POUND today.
His chances for survival will be slim unless someone is willing to adopt and claim him out from the pound.
Are you willing to give him a 2nd chance?

This Is Buddy, The Cancer Dog That Wendy Rescued F.. 15th Jul 2014, by MDDB & MCCP Penang
This is Buddy, the cancer dog that Wendy rescued from the streets. It has been a week since her surgery and she is still recuperating at Peng Aun Veterinary Clinic.
Buddy is doing good and coping well after the operation but she is still not ready to be discharged yet as some of her wounds look moist and to prevent any infection during this period, it's better to let her stay put in the clinic.
We shall continue to keep everyone updated with her progress.

A quick update that this dog has successfully had all her cancerous growth removed. She had awaken from her anesthetic when Wendy went to visit her just now and she even managed to get herself stand up and wag her tail at Wendy. Sweet, isn't it?

This Dog Was First Notice By Wendy, A Feeder Havin.. 9th Jul 2014, by MDDB & MCCP Penang
This dog was first notice by Wendy, a feeder having few growths on her body. The tumour-like thingy soon spread and burst with blood oozing out.
Wendy was shock looking at the blood dripping non-stop and immediately took her to the veterinary clinic today and vet confirmed that those were cancerous growths and need to undergo surgery to remove them otherwise they will continue to spread and with the amount of blood dripping, it's only a matter of time before she collapse.
