Dr sent us the message :"As we started diuretics yesterday to promote urine production... She had urinated in the cage but the abdomen is also enlarged... On x-ray there is a lot of fluid in the abdomen.... which is urine...Currently we can't visualize a bladder on the xray..."
"There is a high possibility that the urinary bladder is partially ruptured...We will need to do a contrast x-ray to confirm if it is a bladder rupture or possibly ureter or urethr...

Queenie is in Critical Condition 😭😭😭
The latest update from Dr: "she vomited half of the food and liquid as well... We rechecked her kidney, the value gone up remarkly which explain the vomiting..."
"Creatinine from 206 to 568... Urea from 15.6 to 41.2... Her kidney is failing... We have started to treat with diuretics today... So for now... The primary attention will be on trying to cope with the kidneys.."

Dr said: “the dog ‘s R hip is luxated and the left lower hindleg is badly fractured. She can really feel any pain sensation .....The left leg is very swollen and bruised...."
Such a poor little Queenie😭😭😭 how could u endure the pain for so long 😭😭😭 why people can just hit and run and never care about your injury 😡😡😡

At a late evening otw home after helping at the shelter, this poor female dog was found at the road side, she couldn't move at all😢😢😢
Next morning , the poor dog was still there & she can’t move with her legs & stays at road side with no shade. 😭😭😭
She definitely couldn't survive if she is left alone there😭😭😭

Still remember Meera? whose her owner already passed away and she has a tumour on her ear which needs urgent surgery 🐾🐾🐾

The tumor report confirmed that Meera's tumor is malignant neoplasms- cancerous cells will spread to nearby lymph node or organs 🥺🥺🥺

Here she’s having a good time running about with other dogs at G-pet.
Her pawrent Lyvier says,”She seems to be quite scared when we brought her back. So thought of bringing her to socialize with other dogs so that she’ll feel more comfortable with ppl and dogs around.”

Recently we received good news from one of our MCO babies’ pawrent!
While that makes us happy, we are also concern for these 3 MCO babies who have yet to receive their families. These three are the remaining ones from a litter of eight. They are healthy, young and energetic! They love to play!
8 months old; and MCO5 is Male, while they other two are females.

During this critical period due to Covid-19, many shelters are having difficult time to make sure all the fur kids having full stomach all the time😩😔😩
The fur kids are so lucky to have Mr Phoong from Mei Keng Fatt Seafood Restaurant. He purposely packed the frozen meat to be stored in the food bank so that the fur kids can have full meal from time to time🍖🍖🍖

We are thankful for Aurelia who really brings out the beauty in Angela.
In her recent update, Aurelia shared that Angela was diagnosed with heartworm just a week after they adopted her.
In her words: “So we started her on the 6 month treatment. And now almost done already. So far she has daily medication and 3 injections. But she’s very good and no trouble to us at all.”
