Tender Moments

We wish all the furrizens are good frens like these all the times… =) But no matter how many times we lecture/nag them about “Sharing is Caring”, “United We stand, Divided we fall”, “Stop fighting or you’ll end with wound and trip to the vet” etc etc.. they just wouldn’t listen >_< I wish someone would invent a translator of doggie talk and vice versa.. so we can understand them, and they can understand us :D

This is what make our day. Another puppy found a loving home. Thanks to the lovely lady (sorry I didn’t get ur name) and her friend for dropping by the shed to adopt Champion. Sandy is our very own DBKL queen. Her son Billy Boy holds the DBKL prince title too >_< During feeding time, both must be keep in cage with their personal food bowl and only let out after every other furrizens are fed. Reaching Out To Stray’s Plight Through Community Project

We’re very delighted to get a visit from this group of UPM's students on 18th Nov 2010 to help out in the shed. They helped to bath the dogs, feed them and cleaned up the shelter! Thank you very much indeed! And also thanks for the donation for shampoo, old shirts and newspaper. We truly hope that there will be more organizations, uni and college that would consider extending their community project/corporate social responsibility towards the plight of the strays.

We have been informed that a young male dog of minpin/chihuahua mix (small sized) was found on Sunday (6th Feb) at about 3pm at the OUG market. Moolloo was found taking shelter under the plants at the Jalan Klang Lama - Jalan Puchong intersection. He would be chasing cars and motorbikes during rush hours (mornings and evenings), When the vehicles stops at the traffic light, he would go around sniffing the tyres. Naughty Bak Kut Teh whom roam freely outside the shed were caught and carried into the shed for a bath. He is one of the dogs dumped at the temple. Surprisingly, he is very friendly. To be this trusting of human, we do think that he used to be someone’s pet previously. Even a trip to the dog pound lately didn’t completely deter his trust in human. Another Dog Dumped At Us

In case some may wonder how can the shed be overcrowded since we’re trying our best to rehome the furrizens, this is one of the reason. Every week, we have an average of 3-5 dogs dumped outside the shed. And today is no exception. However, we’re very shocked at the condition of the poor dog... terribly skinny and weak, just lying there almost motionless.
