Adult Beagle Found Along Highway From Kota Damansara To Sg Buloh

FOUND on August 7, 2011 - Adult female beagle wandering along the back highway from Kota Damansara to Sg Buloh. She was wearing a brown, leatherlike collar which was very loose on her - so I suspect she's been missing for quite a while and has lost weight. She came to me, tail wagging when called. Apart from some minor skin ailments and a bad case of fleas, she appears to be in very good health. has now been bathed (With little protest) and medicated for the fleas. Loves being patted! ...

Lil PiccolinaWe received an email requesting for help with the rehoming a doggie saved by these two kind people. They saved a young female dog from the streets recently, spayed and vaccinated her. They have named her Lil Piccolina. She is currently receiving further treatment at a vet centre in Kepong. Rugged Mark, Adopted

Handsome and rugged Mark has been adopted last Sunday! Unfortunately since most of us were in IOI Mall for the adoption drive we didn’t managed to snap a Happy pic of Mark and his adopter. Mark will be sent for neutering before he set foot in his new home. We’re truly happy that Mark will be starting a whole new chapter of life with his new family soon. Anna, Adopted

Anna has been adopted today by Miss EJ from Bandar Sg Long! Miss Ej fell in love with Anna the moment she set eye on her , she said Anna is gorgeous. She held Anna for a good 15 min and decided to adopt her. Latest Progress Updates On Sweet Caramel

Attached are some pictures taken during the dressing of Caramel’s wounds procedure. The wound is healing nicely as can be seen from the very smooth surface. The size of the wound has also reduced. Caramel took it all in her stride when Dr Goh did the dressing for her and did not whine nor struggle. Her paws were quite badly torn at first but are now recovering too! Strays In Phuket

Strays in Phuket are so… well fed and healthy! And i don’t see the strays going through rubbish bin too. This is maybe because the locals there feed them, therefore there is no need for the strays to scour for food. Some of them are seen loitering in front of the shops. The locals and tourist are not bothered by them and they don’t go bothering people too. But then again, this is based on what I see in a few short days in Phuket. I am sure many must have wondered what happened to the abused puppy with was found with a large wound on its back. The doctor treating it did say that it was a 50/50 chance of survival rate as Napoleon was still young and may not be able to stand the anesthesia. Something is definitely missing during our short trip to the shelter last Sunday.Yes, it is the infectious big wide grin by Miss Cotton. She was not in her usual welcome spot.. but was resting inside the building that used to be a prawn fishing place. Dog Groomers Wanted!

Paws Mission is looking for groomers who can teach the volunteers to perform basic grooming on the dogs at the shelter. We hope to be taught the 5 basic dog grooming care which includes hair brushing, nail trimming, bathing, ear care and hair cutting.We hope to care the 130 dogs at our shelter better with these skills.
