Our volunteer Pauline with Johnny and IreneIrene was brought in for her eye and skin check up. Both her eyes were getting opaque and she might lose her vision in time to come. Still Short Of Funds For New Shelter Construction

The Construction of our new shelter in Hulu Langat is progressing well. This shelter can accommodate our 300+ dogs. We will strive to provide more regular updates on the progress. Johnny, The Orphaned Furkid.....

Here is Johnny who was rescued from Hulu Langat PETRONAS station. After his owner died, Johnny was left alone to fend for himself. He hung out at around the gas station and the staff there took care of him and fed him. Johnny unfortunately met with an accident one day and couldn't walk, this is when the staff alerted us and we have taken him back to the shelter. Phew! Peter Is Only Having The Flu

In any dog shelter, Distemper is one of the most dreaded and feared illnesses. So when Peter has a running nose, some eye discharge and a bit of cough, we were most concerned despite the fact that he has full and up-to-date vaccinations.As such, Dr Au recommended a distemper test just to rule it out . Doggie Is Given The All Clear From Heartworm

Remember Doggie? Well we have some updates for you! He was brought to the vet yesterday for a follow up visit and is found to be free from microfilariae, which means he's now free from the heartworm problem. After a series of treatment in the past 8 weeks, Doggie is now well and healthy. We couldn't have done this without the kind donors' help and well wishes from all. Young Pup With A Big Abdomen

Little Pup This little pup was rescued from Puchong Industrial Area by one of the volunteers. He was found to have a huge abdomen, so big that he could hardly move and we noticed his gum was very pale. We sent him to a vet in Old Kuchai Lama but just before his turn, he started gasping for air and the vet quickly examined him, but he died a few minutes later. Roger's Tail Was Bleeding

Roger was found bleeding from his tail last week and had to be brought in to Dr Lee's clinic. We were informed by Dr Lee that the bleeding could have been caused by Roger biting at his own tail to relief some severe itchiness he was going through. Dot DotFirst letter Hi Second Chance, Dot Dot had his 1st vet visit today and the vet declared him healthy as ever. However, I still insist on full blood test to further confirm that he is healthy. According to the vet and the medical card that I have received, Dot Dot is more than a year old. He is most probably 2-3 years old based on the record and the built up of tartar at this teeth.
