Lucky was tied up n being left alone in an emptied house when the owner moved out. With no proper food n water, nobody to take care of him caught his rescuer's friend's attention. Juliana drove all the way down to Karak n saw his condition was heartbreaking. Covered with ticks, fleas n soil. Tangled coating. Wuchai Had His First Try On His Wheelchair

Finally Wuchai has a wheelchair custom made for him.It may not look like a comfortable one but there is a valid reason behind this design- It is designed this way to encourage Wuchai to rely more on his own to move, if it's made too comfy he will not try hard to use his muscles, which can be detrimental to him in the long run. Moreoever the wheelchair is an adjustable one, so not to worry!

Update On Wuchai

Wuchai's wound is too big and too wide for it to heal properly. As such, the vet suggested to stitch it up to speed up the healing process. Here you will see Wuchai also wearing socks, that is to prevent hurting his legs too much when he drags his hind legs to walk around. Most of the time, we see cat sleeping on top of the car. Wuchai - An Accident Victim

This is Wuchai. He is a very quiet and calm dog that unfortunately was met with an accident in Sri Kembangan, Selangor and left him with two very weak hind legs that almost paralyzed him. He was sent to the vet by his rescuer, Jessica. He was warded for four weeks but he came out of the clinic with a big bad pressure sore. Lulu's torn ligament has been assessed, and it's a relief for all of us that the tear is not too bad, however exercising the joint at the hip to ensure maximum range of motion is crucial while she recovers. Updates On Daniel, The Maggot Wound Dog (Part 2)

Daniel is recovering fast though he still has abscess and secondary infection on the head. He still needs to stay a few more days at the clinic for treatment and observation prior to being discharged. The swollen part on the head where the vet drew out some pus.His eyes look more hopeful and trusting now.Despite eating a lot, he is still underweight.

Updates On Daniel.... The Maggot Wound Dog

One of our volunteers went to the clinic to check on Daniel, vet said he has a good appetite and been eating a lot. However Daniel can be a snappy dog, well for a homeless dog, it could be due to the hard life he's had out there, or it could be the pain he's suffering from the wounds.
