Since Sept 2009 , Second Chance Shelter is rescuing , rehabilitating & rehoming thousands of strays. Now our shelter houses 500++ rescued who are waiting for their 2nd chances.
It's an endless mission , at this moment we are unable to take but we are nonstop working hard to do rehoming .💪💪
Our bodies are exhausted , but when the adopters shares the update of their adopted children, we felt so blessed that our efforts are not wasted in saving lives.😇😇

An adoption drive held independently by Shirley, who occupied a makeshift space just outside a shoplot in Bangsar, saw the adoption of 5 of 8 puppies. They are now 3 remaining puppies; all brown! Yesterday we brought River to Paw Rehab. The physio said the prognosis for him to walk again is not good. She suspects there is a fracture at a high level in his spine.
Our plan is to give him a last chance. Let's try 2 weeks of intense physio and possible hydrotherapy.

Olive was adopted by a kind owner, Patrick Wong from the old shelter.
However, lately Olive was diagnosed with kidney problems under the treatment. Not long ago, she then passed away .
Patrick donated her stuff , medicine, renal kibble even her “piggy bank “ amounted RM56.70.
Not only Patrick did the good deed, Olive also wanted to be generous like her owner by giving her medicine to our Nelson , who was suffering chronic kidney disease .

Bingo Was Eating His Meal And Suddenly He Just Fel..

Bingo was eating his meal and suddenly he just fell to the floor.
We quickly rushed him to the vet.
X-ray shows that he is suffering spondylitis deformans - bone spurs along the spine . His condition is critical. His PVC is 13.5 . Our blood donor is donating blood to his body. Having cloudy lung😥😓
Again we need help on vet fund. We managed to raise an amount from Grey but because we have so many senior dogs with medical conditions. Fund is low again.
