Hi, I'm Pockets!
I was found wandering outside near a train station but I wasn't in the best condition; I had been attacked by another animal which left me with a dislocated and infected femur head, and my skin exposed. Although I was badly wounded, I still had strength in my legs to walk and enough spirit to cry out for help.
Thankfully, one night someone heard me and took me in, giving me food, water and a place to stay. The next day I was sent to a vet to be taken cared of, where I still am today. It has been over a week.
When I came in, the vet had to remove pus from my wounds, carefully so that I wouldn't go into septic shock, and I was given antibiotics to clear the infection in my femur. I'm recovering well, but the fight is far from over; I will need to have surgery to fix my hip and go through rehab right after.
What an uphill battle life had thrown me, just as a baby too! But life had also blessed me with loving humans that wanted me to live; And I know there are more of you out there! I will be up fit for adoption soon, and working towards that, this page will be updated with my progress/results as it comes. Stay tuned!

*Latest Update* Pockets passed away on 29 May 2020. The doctor found large worms in her stomach, and her health deteriorated very quickly in a day.
Pockets' story is one of the many stories of how stray animals suffer without proper care. She was only a few months old and yet she learnt so quickly how hard and painful life can be.
As cute as it is to meet a stray cat/dog on the road, we must realize these animals are living without shelter, sufficient food/water, vetcare, and a loving family to be themselves with.
Just because they can survive, that does not mean they are thriving; They are in fact, suffering.
The growing stray population is an overwhelming problem, and because these domesticated animals need us, we should acknowledge that this is a community issue, which needs as much help and attention possible, just like other issues in the world.
Donate and/or volunteer at your local shelters, educate yourself about animal breeding and its implications.

Even though Pockets passed away very young, she was able to experience a sliver of hope, in the days which we found and cared for her.
