Lucky, the Fighter has an unusual story. In February 2016, he was neutered and released back to the community he belonged and lived his normal life. The stall workers fed the community cats daily, including Lucky and they roamed around the area they know freely

On this fateful evening, Lucky was found lying in blood in front of the stall. No one saw what happened but for sure, he was trying all he could do to go back to the stall and seek help. Not knowing what to do, the stall workers called for help and Lucky was rushed for emergency vet service.
The vet examined Lucky and advised that very likely he was ran over by car and dragged, looking at his wound. No test could be done on that night as calming Lucky down was the priority. Two days later, the tests were out. No damage to internal organ, however, both hind legs suffered comminuted fracture.

Due to high medical cost at the initial emergency vet, Lucky was transferred to another vet when he was stable enough. At the same time, fund raising was already started for poor Lucky. At the new vet, it was discussed in detail what should be done to make Lucky walk again and avoid muscle atrophy. Two separate surgeries were needed for both hind legs.

First surgery performed for Lucky's left hind thigh. Successful. (Please refer to photos for pre and post surgery)

Second surgery performed for Lucky's right hind leg. Successful. (Please refer to photos for pre and post surgery)

Wound flushing was done daily since the completion of surgery by vet with treatment of antibiotics to minimise risk of infection for Lucky. He was also monitored on ability to stand and walk. In mid-December, Lucky was examined for his discharge from vet clinic after spending a little more than a month in the clinic. Total medical bill for Lucky's treatment was nearly seven thousand donated by kind hearted public and we decided not to release him back to the community for any risk and instead look for a loving home for him.
Current
Now that Lucky has fully recovered and can stand, walk and jump like any other cat, we would like to look for his furrever home. He is litter box trained and OK to eat kibbles and wet food. If you think Lucky is special and would like to offer your unconditional love, please contact me.
I hope you can adhere to below:
1. Must vaccinate him annually
2. Must keep him strictly indoor only for his welfare
3. Must not be kept in cage for too long
4. Must attend to his health and medical need (if any in the future, he is now healthy)
5. To avoid feeding low grade cat food (even mid range is appreciated)
6. To update me once in a while with his condition with photos
Please give him a home and love, he will love you back unconditionally
