I have a 4 yrs old Shih Tzu dog looking for new master.
The reason to let go the dog is because wife cannot stand a furry stuff walking around when she's pregnant and bath the dog almost everyday.... The started to developed into skin problem... Neighbour around also seems not happy for it's present

This cute little dog never attack & bark without any reason.

Dog's birthday is 21st Sept 2004

The dog's name Lucky & we command him by chinese language.

This dog eats almost anything but he's on special diet for now since the skin problem developed

He's been trained as a great companion but unfortunately we no longer need his companion since last year and he's not happy since then.

We hope that his new master will fulfill his role as a companion dog.

based on current situation, we need to find him a new master before it becomes a big issue to the dog.

Details will be further discussed when his new master confirmed his adoption for this dog.

We'll give out all his stuff free and we just hope his new master will pay us back by taking care of him.

Our requirements for new owner is :-
-Landed property
-Will not send him away even for a few days.
-Someone who need companion at home.
-Someone who speak mandarin as he's trained in Mandarin language.

Daphne1985 you claimed that you were a pet lover and if that was so, stop talking so much, just go and adopt this dog, if not i think you should just stop it. Don't try to expect everyone to behave / think like you.

hi shanti,
just my 5 cents here.
u r right that not everybody behave/thinks like her.
of cos everybody is not the same.
but she only voice out her opinion just like u.
if she's like u only voicing and challenging people to adopt lucky, what will u think lucky's fate will be?
good or bad?
nobody is rite or wrong in this posting.
all is base on their own opinion.
BUT there is really some point that really need to highlight for all owners and pet lovers.
'Don simply say u don need ur doggy's companion after all the life they have faithfully stay by urside. This point definately will rise up lots of pet lover's opinion.'
-nobody can promise forever to anybody but at least think, do u really really have to sacrifice ur once a faithful companion.
think carefully before making any decision
-ask urself have u done anything to ur pet all these years? when u need them they will be by urside but once we, human, have another thing more important than them, we will neglect them without realising.

navigator,
in my opnion, i din and can't say u r wrong.
u got ur reason. I wish and hope lucky will find a suitable home soon.
and please consider to neuter him before passing him to a new owner to prevent he fall into the wrong hand.

Good luck and god bless all

cheers
vivi

LUCKY is not lucky at all, I think d key word is: <We no longer need his companion>, dis sound so so unacceptable, like sum ppl push their old mother to old folk home, if he understand, he will be v v dissapointed & sad (which he oledi did), wat ever it is, hope he can find a new owner which trully luv & value him. gud luck LUCKY.

Deki,
if you're commenting about this phrase <We no longer need his companion>, I can tell you that he's born to be a companion dog. This is his sole reason of his breed. Please understand that this phrase is not to be misinterpreted as <I do not want him anymore>. If I'm the sole decision maker, I won't even choose to let him go. Unfortnately you will not know what I am feeling now as you may have thought I am a cruel person who will simply abandoned his companion after so many years.

my new neighbourhood is either malays or those cocky people....

I do wish to send him to be neutered before but most of the vet's advice is not to neuter a passive dog like Lucky or he might have a big change in his behaviour.

Trust me, he's my best friend all the time. I do not want to say farewell to him, I also know this is an awful choice to be made but... I don't know.. I just hate to made such decision. It takes me almost a year just to decide letting him go or not....

Anyway, thanks for all who care of Lucky & not only leaving a destructive comment here. May all your kindness pays.

Will let him stay in the new home for a while.

For the time being, his ads will be deactivated.

Many thanks.

Daki,
I'm not sure if EVERYBODY will think this way but one thing for sure is I do choose his new home carefully. This is the least what I can do for him.

I will visit him often until a time that he'd be attached to his new owner.

navigator,is the dog bark all the time or pee/poo here and there that annoyed your neighbour?? If not, screw them.Who cares if they don't like dogs?? That is their problems. I have this kind of neighbours. Don't be surprise,Chinese families doesn't like dogs and they complaint to the management of our apartment abt another neighbour's dog.Mind you,I'm Muslim but I don't mind at all abt the dogs.My neigbour that own this Beagle are very good with their dog.Bring him for a walk, collect his poo and clean the pee.He barks occasianally but hey!! we are talking abt dogs and barking is their behaviour. So pls by all means keep your dog if neigbhours is your problem. As I said earlier, screw them

Thanks Mcgyuverjune's advice. but my problem is not as simple as that.

If neighbour only that's an external factor and I do have a way to repel them...

But most of my problem is coming from my wife & her family....they all keep a mindset that DOG--infectious & dirty. My wife was ok before this until she's pregnant and you know....pregnant woman will become sensitive to these things....

navifator, if u brows thru the comments, it seems true dat everybody got pis off wif dis line u written: (He's been trained as a great companion but unfortunately we no longer need his companion since last year and he's not happy since then.) U may not meant dat, but sounds sad & pitifull 4 d dog.

Pardon me if I offended u, my Eng not so gd :), understand ur problem & how u feel, hope his new owner accept him wif full heart.

Regards 2 ur family.

navigator   May 26th 2009 at 2:03PM
Yea thanks for what you've commented. The only reason the line is included as he is trained and raised as a companion myself.

It doesn't meant that I do not want him, the line is included as I can no longer keep it as a companion but a guard dog.

Obviously, a companion dog will not be happy to be a guard dog.

Maybe I should ignore all those -ve comment as I found that most of such comments is posted before it's think twice?
