[Adopted 1 February by Freddy]

Freya is very affectionate with people, good with kids, toilet-trained and has good leash manners. Good watchdog as she will bark to announce the presence of strangers but NOT suitable as a guard dog as she's a typical people-loving lab. Loves playing fetch! :)

Please note that she must be the only dog in the household as she has a history of dog aggression.

Conditions for adoption:

- Cover spaying cost (she has just gone on heat and will be spayed when the cycle ends)
- Maintain her medical needs (deworming, heartgard, flea and tick prevention etc.)
- No unnecessary tying/caging

Would appreciate it if you could email a brief intro of yourself, your experience with dogs if any, which area you live in, your household situation (what type of home you live in, whether you have other family members/friends living with you etc.) and why you would like to adopt Freya.

Dear KingDavid,

We certainly appreciate your help in checking pet profiles for violations and abuses. However, please refrain from making hostile comments towards others, as that would likely result in verbal warfare and fights that are detrimental to all parties - especially the pet involved that is urgently seeking a home.

Please feel free to enquire more information about a pet/owner/adopter, but kindly keep it in a friendly manner. We have removed the previous comments.

Thank you for helping keep this a friendly and effective community.

Thanks PF Admin for the effort in ensuring this community remains as positive and nurturing as possible :) Not too sure what happened here since the comments have been removed.

Would like to state for the record I am simply fostering a sweet dog that was removed from a cruel situation. Anyone sincerely interested in providing Freya a loving home and would like more details, please email and I will be happy to oblige with further information.

Lab is lovely family dog, i rescued one large breed with chip( found out after rescued 3years later ) He
was scary to me when we first met. He was fur less, skinny , skeletal and hole with worms at his back. When SPCA sent him to my house, my family members all scared of him including me. He has skin problem, digestive and wound problems, he was so smelly . But he seem understand that he was safe in this new home. At first, we thigh him at our car porch due to his look and my sons were very scare and avoid him. This Lab are smart , i believe he knows , he never enter house when he was un chained . Every time when we were at home, he will sat at the door ( door opened )waiting for permission to enter. Finally, we melted by his friendly, lovely look, since then he became our indoor pet. All my family member love him, he is now part of our family, he has his mattress at a corner under the fan. We walk him twice a day. when he first came , he was around 3+ yrs , he is now 9 years old. We LOVE him so much and he is so attached to us . I strongly encourage to adopt Freya , you will not regret .

Thanks for sharing your wonderful story! I hope Freya will have a happy ending like your lab who's lucky enough to have a family that loves him whole-heartedly :) They really are great family dogs, I have a lab of my own and would have adopted her myself if she was alright with other dogs.
